Epic Procedural Brutalism is a personal exploration of brutalist architecture, created entirely through procedural modeling in Modo.

As someone who grew up surrounded by concrete panel buildings, I’ve always been fascinated by the aesthetics of brutalism—its raw geometry, repetition, and monumental presence. This project allowed me to dive deep into those forms and reinterpret them using a fully procedural system I developed inside Modo.

I built a custom setup that generates architectural structures from scratch, using a network of modifiers and replicators. It gave me the freedom to experiment with scale, detail, and density while keeping the entire process non-destructive and flexible.

The result is a series of dense, atmospheric scenes that reflect both my nostalgia for Soviet-style panel buildings and my technical interest in procedural workflows. It’s also part of my broader study into modular and generative systems for environment design in games and cinematic art.

Rendered in dark, moody tones, the project emphasizes structure over ornamentation—true to the spirit of brutalism, but filtered through a procedural, digital lens.
