Glad to finally share some news about a project that holds a special place in my professional journey. After many years, Captain Blood — a title I contributed to at the very beginning of my career — is finally set for release.
This was my first role in the game industry. I joined Akella as a junior 3D artist and worked on parts of the game’s environment. It was a formative experience — both creatively and personally — and one that gave me an early understanding of production workflows, pipelines, and team dynamics.
During this time, I had the chance to work alongside talented artists and developers who helped me grow as a specialist. I’m genuinely thankful to the team that gave me a start and trusted me with production assets right from day one.
It’s great to see this project finally nearing completion. Despite all the challenges it faced over the years, I’m proud to have been part of its history.
